This wonderful 3D wooden puzzle is a steampunk casket in the shape of a book with a combination lock, a secret compartment, a multi-step opening process and a fantastic mechanism. You open your book of secrets by entering a three-digit combination into the spine of the book to unlock the secret key. Insert the key into the special slot and turn it anti-clockwise to activate the opening mechanism.
Then turn the cogwheels anti-clockwise and finally open the book. Several windows on the box will show you whether you have carried out the individual steps correctly.
