Each converter easily combines Gigabit Ethernet twisted pair cabling with fiber optics. The DMC-G02SC is designed for SX fiber optic cabling with a maximum length of 550 m and the DMC-G10SC for LX fiber optic cabling with a maximum length of 10 km.
