Although a central unit works to ensure the alarm is heard, it can be more useful for staff to have individual pagers to be able to respond directly to the problem, especially as they may be located closer.

The SSD Alphanumeric Pager is available with the Bosch Nursecall Range. Rather than the central displaying showing the message, the individual pager instead displays a line of text that informs the member of staff where the alarm originates from. Features of the SSD Alphanumeric Pager The pager can be configured using CMS Lite PC Software.

This allows you to zone the pager either by area - for example, in a hospital ward - or by call type - for example, pressure mats. Individual pagers can be connected to specific tasks this way, ensuring the right person is on the scene when the alarm is sounded. Not only can the type of alarm be focused for each pager, but also different times of day.

This means the alarm can be set for either day or night, allowing the carer to disconnect without disrupting any settings when they are no longer on duty. The type and location of the call will be displayed on the pager. This helps to improve reaction time as the location is shown in full alphanumeric text so is displayed in full rather than leaving anything to chance.

There is the option of either 40 or 80 characters to be shown.
