The Bedpan is suitable for both men and women for a range of uses, including the following: For permanently immobile patients For patients recovering from an injury, such as a hip fracture For patients recovering from an extensive surgery How Does the Fracture Bedpan Work? This low-profile bedpan features a tapered front that can be slid underneath the patient without lifting or changing their position. The handle on the back of the pan enables easy handling and grasping for simple placement and removal. The pan is able to hold the weight of the user's mid-body whilst the head, arms, legs and chest remain supported by the bedding.

This product is ideal for all immobile patients as it requires no strength or movement. The bedpan can also be utilised as a female urinal, reducing discomfort and possible re-injuring of the fracture. Autoclavable to 137 degrees, the featured plastic guard prevents spills and the handles allow a clean removal.
