When it's time for the next dose, the dispenser automatically rotates to the next pill compartment, and then sounds a beeping audio alarm while flashing a red light. These alarms are not dismissed until the scheduled dose is removed from its compartment. The Ivation Automatic Pill Dispenser allows you to dispense pills on a daily/weekly schedule.

Pills are stored in a removable plastic tray, which rotates inside the dispensing unit under a locked plastic lid. The tamper-proof lock ensures that patients cannot access medication until the appropriate dosing time, effectively reducing the risk of overdosing. The dispenser comes with clearly printed discs that insert into the dispenser.

The discs identify the day of the week, and the appropriate number of doses per day (1, 2, 3, or 4 doses per day). You will choose the appropriate disc for your medication regime and then place it on the tray prior to filling it, and use it as a guide for where to place pills. Features: 28 compartments each hold 18 aspirin-sized pills.
