It is ideal for use in conference rooms or lecture halls. Each of the inputs (3 x HDMI, 3 x VGA and audio, component video and audio, as well as composite video and audio) can be output simultaneously to displays at any of the outputs (2 x HDMI and VGA). These three outputs are compatible with both current and older AV displays and can be combined with Lindy HDMI or VGA extenders to drive displays at greater distances.
In addition to video functions, the switch also offers the ability to convert from digital to analog and from analog to digital. It can embed analog audio signals into HDMI video signals. With its simultaneous audio output via a 3.5 mm stereo jack and coaxial SPDIF, the switch can be directly connected to most common receivers.
An HDMI output that also supports audio provides additional flexibility. The switch can be configured and controlled remotely via RS232, Telnet, and Web GUI, or locally through the OSD and infrared remote control.
