Stage 1 (slow flow) is suitable for thin liquids such as breast milk, tea, and water. Stage 2 (normal flow) is designed for milk and thin baby food, while Stage 3 (fast flow) is for thicker foods. To select Stage 1 (slow), turn the bottle so that the number 1 on the nipple shaft points towards the baby's nose.

For a normal flow, continue turning the bottle to number 2, and so on. The base of the nipple features a novel valve that regulates pressure inside the bottle and helps to significantly reduce colic. The silicone nipple is equipped with patented nubs that gently massage the gums during feeding.
