To protect your card, Sapphire cards come with a fuse integrated into the circuit of the external PCIe power connector to safeguard the components. The high-quality aluminum backplate not only adds style but also protects the components on the back of the PCB and helps dissipate heat from the PCB, with a high-performance thermal pad in between. The fans are equipped with dual ball bearings, which in our tests showed about an 85% longer lifespan compared to sleeve bearings.
The improvements in the fan blades mean that the solution is up to 10% quieter than the previous generation.
